HOW IT ALL BEGAN.
"I've been a passionate music enthusiast since my early childhood. Growing up in Italy, I approached the world of music by working as a DJ at private radio stations. Even upon relocating to the USA, every visit back to Italy, whether for work or leisure, saw me returning with a few CDs in my luggage. Over three decades of collecting albums, I amassed a music library boasting several hundred original records.
A surprising turn of events opened an unexpected door for me. I decided to devote my time to digitizing my extensive CD collection, encompassing around 5000 songs. In a moment of jest, I remarked to my wife, 'Honey, with all this music, I could easily start an Italian radio!'
Surprisingly, just a week later, I found myself working towards the creation of a web radio dedicated to Italian music ...added my collection of Italian-American artists and BOOM! Italian Radio USA was born. This radio, now streaming across all 50 US states, is independent, and is accessible to all without the need for sign-ups.
